Ex-worker says Facebook spied on employees’ Gchat messages

If you think Facebook knows too much about your private life, get a load of the Big Brother spying it does on its employees.

A worker who leaked internal e-mails to a journalist friend was busted because the company was spying on their Gchat messages, according to a Wired report.

Contractor Benjamin Fearnow was caught sharing screenshots of a memo that honcho Mark Zuckerberg wrote after someone replaced “Black Lives Matter” on an office notice board with “All Lives Matter” — and another of employees asking “What responsibility does Facebook have to help prevent President Trump in 2017?” ahead of a company meeting.

The same day, a second contractor was also fired because, he suspects, he once lived with Fearnow and the journalist, and had clicked “like” on the story about the “Black Lives Matter” memo.
